Sydney International Women's Day Breakfast

Unifem is the UN Development Fund for Women; it provides financial and technical assistance to innovative programs and strategist that promote women’s human rights, political participation and economical security in more than 100 countries.

The Guest Speaker will be – Dr Rose Evaster-Aderolili who is the Head of the Gender and Macroeconomic Model at the African Centre for Gender and Development (ACGD) located in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia.  The Centre is a division of the United National Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and is the only regional structure directly responsible for gender and development programs in Africa.  ACGD works in conjunction with national, sub-regional and regional structures in the advancement of women and gender equality.
