Business and Professional Women Australia

For more than 110 years National Council members have been making a difference in Australia. NCW New South Wales was set up in 1896. Australia was one of the earliest countries to join the International Council of Women, the world's oldest international women's organisation.
NCWA is a national non-government umbrella organization with broadly humanitarian and educational objectives, which seeks to raise the awareness of women to their rights and responsibilities as citizens and to encourage the participation of women in all aspects of community life.

WIRE - Women's Information

Women's Information was formed in 1984 by the combined efforts of many organisations such as the Women's Electoral Lobby, Lifeline, the Victorian Police and the YWCA. Women had many questions concerning major life choices and their basic human rights and were seeking complex support and information to help find solutions. Twenty plus years on WIRE has evolved into a comprehensive information, support and referral service.
